Clocking in is a game about trying to just sleep in as long as possible.
Which wouldn't be that difficult, if your alarm clock wasn't a literal time bomb that throws puzzles at you constantly.
You can increase your remaining time by clicking the snooze button rapidly.
But beware, the device won't give you much time to breathe between random Minigames that both cost you a Life and halve your remaining time on losing them!
Winning a Minigame gives you a tiny time-reward based on the difficulty.
Minigames include:
Math Problem:
Solve by entering the correct result.
Simon Says:
The device will show you an order of blinking colors. When it finishes, it's your time to replicate it.
Rock Paper Scissors / Janken:
The device will tell you it's hand, but changes quickly. If you manage to hit a draw, another round starts, and the potential time-reward increases.
This was my first real game I ever created and therefore also my first game jam.
All sprites in this game were hand-drawn by moohie7 for this game.
The source code is available here for free and you are allowed to use all code and sprites as your own, however you want.
